I thought I have to share this. It's a very delicious trip moment. Imagine, the whole 3 days we stayed in Jiaochangwei beach, we only eat in (1) one particular restaurant called CHEE CHOO, why? We like the food so much! Really tastes good and affordable. The staffs were so friendly to us and they serve us with a smile. Dapeng Getaway pt. 1: Jiaochangwei

We booked a cozy little Inn sitting on the beachfront. Nice ambiance. Front desk people are really friendly and helpful. Surrounded the Inn are all small shops and restaurants. More choices what to eat. The ice cream and crepe corner is to die for 😋😋😋. The beach itself is OK. Water is not too inviting as we see other beaches here in Shenzhen and Huizhou. But the area is very alive. Busy with water sports. And the board walk is nice. Nevertheless, we enjoyed hearing the waves and the scenery of course. The 'Jiaochangwei' of Dapeng Ancient City↗ is endless, you simply can't finish exploring it! Dapeng Ancient City is a historical site with hundreds of years of history, stepping inside is like arriving at Dali Ancient Town, it's really nice to stroll around~ Walking on the bluestone paths, there's also quite a bit of a Jiangnan feeling. There are also many cultural and creative shops, coffee shops, and tea rooms, and when you see beautiful bracelets, you just can't move on~ , After visiting Dapeng Ancient City, head to Jiaochangwei, check in at the small alleys by the sea, and between rows of guesthouses, 'Ke La Coast' is very photogenic. The atmosphere is full, and it's also very convenient for dining and lodging here, with various restaurants and bars, prices are similar to the downtown area. Jiaochangwei has many seaside guesthouses, with prices ranging from hundreds to thousands during the summer vacation. The guesthouse I stayed at is 'Jiaochangwei Cui Niao Seaside Guesthouse'. I booked this guesthouse both times I visited, the environment is very good, and the owner is very nice. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer an excellent view, and you can see the sunrise. Regarding transportation: there is no direct subway, it is recommended to take a taxi or bus (but I think taking a taxi is not very cost-effective). There's a high chance of traffic jams on weekends, if you're driving, it's advised to set out early!

When you get to the seaside, you can see the sign next to it saying 'Scan me to go out to sea'. ⭐️ Possible destinations include: Yangmeikeng, Luzui Mountain Villa, Pearl Island, etc. ‼️ It is recommended to go to Yangmeikeng and Luzui Mountain Villa in the morning when there is more time.
